problems with mondeo 2.0 tdci. 1. The car starts fine and initially drives fine.. After 15 to 20 minutes of driving when the temperature gets to normal range (almost 50%) while driving, when I lift off on approach to a junction the engine judders and loses power, meaning the car won't move.

P0340 is for the camshaft position sensor. Find it and check the connector on it or move it about and see if it affects the engine. Turning may imply it is an electrical contact issue if the cable is being stretched.
If the ECU is 'dodgy' that could affect fuel economy, but I'd think that there is more chance of some corrosion getting between a couple of wires and that being the problem rather than the ECU itself. Depending on which wires, almost anything could happen, but really damage to a module shouldn't be the outcome (shouldn't!).
Hello. My 2015 2.0 tdci 150, Every time I stop at traffic lights and the stop start activates, the amber spanner lights up. This gives code P0069 barometric/map correlation. I have changed the map sensor, and nothing changed. When I look at live data, barometric reading stays at 14.7 psi obviously. The map reading however drops to 0 (vacuum Mondeo IV Hatchback 2.0 TDCi real World MPG/consumption is 6,6 lt/100km.
