The S5's V8 is 98 RON with 95 RON allowable with reduced performance. I tend to keep it filled with Optimax or Tesco 99 wherever I can. Oddly (in my opinion), the RS 6 specifies 95 RON or 91 RON with reduced performance, so Audi are obviously moving away from high-octane fuel requirement.
A rule of thumb for the g/sec you should see is 0.8 x the engine HP. Your is 354HP (260kw) so you should see the MAF peak at 354 x 0.8 = 283g/s. Ok so thats the MAF test to rule that out. Now the O2 sensor tests. - We really need to see the long and short fuel trims on both banks.
